DeSoto Program
Leadership DeSoto County is a program through the DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce. It seeks to educate, challenge, and develop a select group of leaders who live or work in DeSoto County. Participants are selected on the basis of ability, demonstrated interest in the community, and potential for effective leadership. The program begins in September and continues monthly through graduation in May. Class members attend monthly sessions focused on different community topics and have the opportunity to hear from leaders and businesses throughout the DeSoto County area.

After 15 successful years of Leadership DeSoto, we are proud to announce the launch of a revitalized, dynamic alumni-only program — built to empower our past graduates to help reshape and elevate the future of leadership in DeSoto County.
This exclusive program is separate from the traditional Leadership DeSoto track and is open only to alumni of previous Leadership DeSoto classes. Together, we’ll harness your experience and insight to revitalize the existing program and further invest in our community’s future.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Leadership DeSoto Alumni is a revitalized and dynamic initiative designed exclusively for graduates of previous Leadership DeSoto classes. This alumni-only program empowers past participants to play an active role in shaping the future of leadership across DeSoto County.
Separate from the traditional Leadership DeSoto track, this program leverages the experience, insight, and connections of its alumni to strengthen the foundation of civic engagement, revamp and enhance current programming, and invest meaningfully in our community’s continued growth and success.
