The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at University of South Florida, has satellite offices throughout the 10-county Tampa Bay region. The non-profit organization assists existing, emerging and aspiring businesses in DeSoto county, through no-cost confidential business consulting, market research, and training. The Florida SBDC at USF’s professionally credentialed consultants have real-world experience and expertise to help you make the right business decisions. Consultant¹s expertise focuses on areas that are vital to owning and operating a successful business, including: strategic market research; market expansion and revenue growth; business and strategic plan development; access to capital and loan packaging assistance; financial analysis and assessment; accounting systems and financial literacy; feasibility analysis and start-up assistance. Get a Federal Employer Identification Number

Something every business has to do is register for an Employer Identification Number or EIN. To get an EIN you must apply with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Click Here to apply for one now. This is a FREE service offered by the government. Beware of websites charging money to do this for you.
